Course Overview
Social Skills for Early Learners is a one a half hour-hour training that provides early childhood educators with strategies to build social-emotional skills in young children. Offered both in-person and online, this interactive course covers how to nurture healthy relationships, teach cooperation, manage emotions, develop empathy, and resolve conflicts peacefully. Educators will learn about using books, games, role-playing, and peer modeling to reinforce prosocial behaviors. The training provides hands-on tools to create caring communities where children feel safe, valued, and empowered. Participants will gain techniques to guide preschool and early elementary students in developing self-regulation, decision-making, and other vital social competencies through their programs and daily interactions
